Gem Cube VII – Black Body

Description

The Gem Cube VII is made with a high quality black plastic core. The object of this puzzle is to scramble up all 14 faces and the return it so that each face only has one color on it. This puzzle has an interesting shape because there are 8 faces that have 6 edges while the other 6 faces have 4 edges. This puzzle is unique because it is a hybrid of face-turning and edge-turning. For the face-turning aspect of this puzzle, only the 8 larger faces rotate. For the edge-turning aspect, this puzzle has a rotatable center band that is parallel to the 8 rotating faces. These two aspects combined essentially make the puzzle rotatable 5 layers deep in 4 different directions, providing an extra challenge. Due to its unique design, this puzzle also breaks shape, allowing the pieces to become jumbled. The Gem Cube VII is one of many great puzzles manufactured by DaYan.
