The Son-Mum Cube is a 3×3 mixup cube designed by Mike Ambrust and produced by mf8. It features a 3×3 outer edge with a smaller 3×3 located on the inside of each cube face. As is common with most mixup style cubes, it is possible to scramble the inner 3×3 along with the outer 3×3 at certain positions, which allows the puzzle to be scrambled in some unconventional manners.
