It is a sequential discovery puzzle lock that requires several steps in order to open the shackle. You can see there is no key, so you much uncover its secrets in order to open it. It is moderate in difficulty, and does not require any banging, forcing or spinning to solve.
It lock boasts richly finished wood that displays beautifully!
